Truck toll rates 2027

The truck toll rates will rise by 2.6 percent on 1 January 2027. The amounts per kilometre driven are adjusted in line with inflation in the Netherlands. This happens every year on 1 January.

Since 1 July, truck owners have been paying per kilometre. The cleaner and lighter the vehicle, the lower the amount per kilometre. The rate for the most common diesel truck (EURO 6, over 32,000 kg) will be 20.6 euro cents per kilometre driven from 1 January 2027. The rate for an electric truck in the same weight class will be 4.0 euro cents per kilometre driven.

Temporary 22.3 percent discount until 31 December 2026

Businesses are currently facing sharply increased fuel costs due to the conflict in the Middle East. The cabinet has therefore decided to offer them relief through a temporary reduction in the truck toll. A reduction of 22.3 percent applies to the rates from 1 September until 31 December 2026. This discount applies to all trucks.
