The RDW will only provide personal data to organisations involved in the implementation of the HGV Charge Act. This will only happen if this is necessary for their legal tasks or if the law permits such. The CJIB carries out work on behalf of the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management for the enforcement of the truck toll. The CJIB primarily deals with collecting fines. The CJIB processes personal data if this is necessary for the performance of these statutory tasks.
The CJIB processes personal data for the performance of the enforcement tasks of the HGV Charge Act. This can be necessary, for example, to deal with violations and other measures to enforce the rules. The CJIB processes personal data because this is necessary for compliance with legal obligations and for the performance of public tasks under the HGV Charge Act.

Vitronic will only process personal data on the instruction of the RDW. Vitronic will only process this data if this is necessary for the provision of the agreed service. The RDW uses the data that is collected using technical tools to implement the truck toll and to monitor compliance with the HGV Charge Act.
Vitronic processes personal data as a processor on behalf of the RDW. This means that Vitronic processes personal data in accordance with the RDW’s instructions. EETS providers can also provide services within the Dutch truck toll system to vehicle owners who opt for an EETS solution.
