EETS domain statement regarding truck charge

This document gives information on the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) domain statement regarding the Truck Charge. 

Article 10 of the EETS Directive Implementation Act states that the Toll Collector must write an EETS Domain Statement. The Act also specifies the minimum information the EETS domain statement must include. That is why the Toll Charger has written this paper on the EETS domain regarding Truck Charge.  

The entity levying the Truck Charge is the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management.  The Truck Charge falls under the scope of the EETS domain. This is laid down in article 2, (1) of the Truck Charge Act.

EETS domain statement regarding truck charge version 3

The updated version contains some changes compared to version 2.0. The following changes have been made, among others:

  • The conditions for receiving a fee for pursuing marketing activities are amended.
  • The model bank guarantee contains an explicit expiry date. 
  • Every EETS provider states and guarantees that the Toll Charger is entitled to use all data that the EETS provider provides to the Toll Charger under article 34 of the EETS Implementation Act (Wet Implementatie EETS-richtlijn).
  • Every EETS provider must comply with the conditions precedent within 15 months of signing the EETS agreement.
