Truck toll providers
You will need a truck toll provider to pay truck toll before the truck toll starts. You can only pay truck toll if you have a contract with such a provider. They also provide the on-board equipment that trucks will be required to carry.
Sign up after summer 2025
This summer, we will announce the first list of names of providers with whom you can apply. By that time, you can read here which providers and when exactly you can apply. So keep a close eye on this webpage.
A service provider
- Supplies the on-board unit (OBU, toll box).
You need this OBU to pay the truck toll. - Arranges payment.
The provider bills the truck toll to you. The provider passes the truck toll on to the government.
There are two types of providers
Providers operating in multiple countries (EETS providers)
Providers that operate in several European countries (EETS providers). With one provider and one OBU, you can pay the truck toll in multiple European countries. You can also choose an EETS provider if you only drive in the Netherlands.
In addition to paying the truck toll, EETS providers often offer extra services. For example, fuel cards or VAT refund services. You pay extra for these services.
Providers who are only operational in the Netherlands
The provider Nedlinq works for the Dutch government and is obligated to accept any customer. The OBU you get from Nedlinq only works in the Netherlands. You have to pay a deposit for the OBU.
With Nedlinq, you only pay the truck toll and nothing extra. This provider does not offer any additional services.
