Procurement process for workpackages in 2020
During the Road User Charging Conference which took place in Brussels on 4 and 5 March 2020, the Dutch government agency for the implementation of the HGV charging scheme addressed the procurement process for the work packages, which will be further specified and for which market consultations will be organised in 2020. The work packages in question are those for Main Service Provider, Observation, and Toll Service Provider Accreditation. The intention is for these market consultations to take place in late 2020.
During the information meeting on market interaction on 14 October 2019, the procurement process for the anticipated work packages was outlined. For more information, please refer to the presentations and reports of the information meeting. In order to prepare for this procurement process, an additional market consultation will be organised for the Accreditation work package, for which various market players will be consulted by or on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. This market consultation will focus on the Ministry’s procurement needs in the context of accreditation. This phase will not involve consultations between the Ministry and individual market players.
The Ministry expects the market consultation for the Main Service Provider, Observation, and Accreditation work packages to start in late 2020. Further information will be published on this website as well as on TenderNed.
